Standing Out From the
Crowd!

Do you have an affiliate web site to promote? The good news is you have
a web site that promotes your home business. The bad news is thousands
of other people are promoting the exact same site! Every affiliate has
exactly the same web site. You are competing against all of them. How do
you stand out from the crowd, getting more attention and sales?
Doorway Pages
The only way to stand out is to create your own web page that links to
your affiliate page. These are sometimes called doorway pages. A doorway
page acts as a door into your affiliate program. What is a doorway page
and how do you use it to successfully promote your quick start affiliate
program?
A doorway page is a web page you create that attracts visitors to your
main affiliate page. Look at my site:

It promotes my affiliate program, Six Figure Income. The pages are
under my control. I decide what they say. They are in listed in search
engines and I use other promotional methods that attract visitors.
Visitors are then encouraged to go to my affiliate page where the sale
really happens.
To stand out from the crowd, you must have at least one doorway page
into your affiliate page. Work at home gives you four sample doorway
pages you can use to start with. Look at one of them at
http://www.the-work-at-home-opportunities.com/work_at_home.htm.
This doorway page can be customized to emphasize particular features of
the affiliate program. It can and should also be tuned to rank high in
search engines, like by using keywords in the right places.
Hosting Your Doorway Page
The only thing you need is a place to put your doorway pages. If you
don't already have a web host, you may be able to put them on web space
provided free by your ISP, the company you use to access the Internet.
Send your ISP an e-mail to get details.
If that doesn't work out you could use a free web hosting service. My
favorite is Tripod at http://www.tripod.lycos.com/ .
When I first starting Internet marketing I used free hosting services.
Finally I found Tripod! They are excellent.
Tripod gives you free FTP programs (to upload web pages) and an
excellent free web page generator called Trellix. You can even maintain
your site using webTV. The only disadvantage is that Tripod, as most
other free hosting services, will put ads on your page or pop them up.
You can pay a little a month to eliminate those if you want.
Now you have a secret to promote your quick start affiliate program in
ways most others don't! Ezine ads are an excellent way to do this. For
